1. Eligibility & acceptable use
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by the App Store, Google Play, or local law. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and not to harass, harm, or mislead others. Do not capture or upload images of people without their consent.
2. Entertainment only
MatchScan provides palm-inspired compatibility-style outputs, optional astrological or personality layering, and related content for entertainment and self-reflection only. Nothing in the Services is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or relationship advice, and it is not a substitute for professional help. Do not rely on outputs to make important life decisions.
3. User content & permissions
You retain rights to content you provide (such as photos and profile fields). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and improve the Services (including sending it to configured AI backends when you use those features). For cloud AI features, the App provides an explicit in-app disclosure and choice before upload. You represent that you have all rights and consents needed for any images you submit.
4. Purchases & third-party offers
If we offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, ads, or credits, additional terms may apply from Apple, Google, or payment processors. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or platform policy. Promotional pricing shown in the App may be illustrative until billing is connected.
5. Intellectual property
The Services, branding, and software are owned by IRL Dynamics or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell the Services except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IRL DYNAMICS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
8. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify IRL Dynamics and its affiliates against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms others or the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
10. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict of law rules, unless your local law requires otherwise. Courts in Delaware (or the federal courts located there) have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.
